Outside you will find a Rain Rock which the Shasta Indians used to bring rain. Medicine men would pound holes in the rock to make rain, and cover it to make the rain stop. Admission is free, or by donation. The museum is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, Monday through Friday 10am to 4pm, and Saturday 11am to 3pm.
